About Us

Poolhaus isn't a pool hall with a bar, nor a bar with a few pool tables — it's both, under one roof, in the heart of Bremen. Up front is the Amber Room, where the evening begins: warm light, dark wood, drinks we have spent a long time getting right. Behind it, six pool tables, e-darts and room for the group that turns out bigger than planned.

Everything on the menu, we have tasted ourselves. Everything at the table, we look after ourselves — the cloth, the cues, the lights above. Much of it you won't see; you'll feel it when you play.

Bar and games sit side by side here, not on top of each other. Nobody at the bar sits in the middle of a game, and nobody playing has to squeeze between bar stools — apart enough that no one gets in anyone's way, close enough that one evening can be both: a drink that is given its time, and a game nobody has to win. That is what the house is built for.
